WP now has a new feature!

Visit your User Control Panel and enter your woodworking experience level in the profile section.

Select your current level of experience level from the drop-down menu...

- Novice
- Amateur
- Hobbyist
- Professional
- Expert
- Wood Geek

(This is feature has also been added to the registration form for "new" members.

We have added a New "Google Map" feature to WP.

In anticipation to an "Events" section that will be added to WP, we integrated a "Map" BBCode that will incorporate a Google Maps interactive map into the post.

Step by Step Guide:

- Click the "MAP" Button from the BBCode menu area....

- Insert the location between the Map Tags...
Example: Jacob Javist Center New York
or: 655 West 34th Street New York

Then Submit your Post.

The end result is an Interactive Google Map...

"ShareThis" feature has been added to Woodworkers Post.

We have now incorporated the popular "ShareThis" bookmarking interface to Woodworkers Post.
You can find this new tool at the lower portion of most pages of Woodworkers Post, below the "Jump To" dropdown menu.

How does it work?
Click the "ShareThis" Link and the pop-up will give you numerous options to share the content on the page you are viewing. You can choose to share the content with the most popular sites on the internet, including;

Private Message Alert Box


We have added a new feature to the board. When you receive a new Private Message a "Alert Box" will pop-up on your screen.

We have added this feature based on requests for a more noticable pending Private Message.
You may need to add Woodworkerspost.com to your safe list in order to view the pop-up in your browser if you are blocking pop-up's.
