I tried to make a celtic knot today. It went pretty good for a first attempt. i now have to fine tune it by making the kerf thinner and changing the angle of the cut. next time I'll laminate the knot so it stands out better. this is walnut with an oak knot, just some scrap I had laying around.these pics are of 2 different sides of the knot. hope you like it.

I found something out,, I cant use regualr wood glue. I accidently dropped it and it cracked in half neatly. I think I have to use epoxy or CA glue. I wouldnt want to go through the trouble of making a pen and then it seperates when dropped. :?
